It’s been over a year…

Since I last wrote, with promises of restarting my challenge to write a blog post every week.

Clearly I failed.

But it’s been a bit of a year.

I’ve quit two jobs, met someone and moved from the big smoke of London to smaller Southsea.

Along the way I probably still haven’t found out anymore of the answers.

But then again, I haven’t really been on an Eat, Pray, Love voyage of discovery.

Or have I?

I’ve probably put on more than a stone – so yes to the eating.
Sent up an awful lot of pleas and protests to the man above – yes to the praying.

And I suppose yes, he’s not too bad either – although lovely as he is, this living together malarkey does take some getting used to!

So, have I figured it all out? No..

I earn less than I did when I graduated.

But, I’ve finally put the PR career to one side and am discovering the joys of a job that you don’t take home with you.

I’m living in a place where people speak to you and when you smile they don’t think you are going to steal their purse.

And I have someone in my life who genuinely wants what is best for me.

Not a bad old year then.

P.S – the normal, cynical Cathy of old will return with a vengeance to cover the letter J.
